I believe there was more in that than just her anger at losing Natsuhi. I know that Lotus is close with the Ushiromiya's, and before Natsuhi left, she told me her family was untrustworthy. I find myself agreeing. I think they're trying to use me to eliminate the competition.
Lotus wanted me to create a system for the order people would leave in. I don't think it's a bad idea to keep track of who is willing to volunteer for the hotel. But she said that anyone who didn't respond to me saying whether they wanted to stay, or volunteer for the hotel, should be listed as acceptable to kill. She tried to manipulate me by saying that life at the hotel was no life at all, that killing them was kinder. They've both told me I should make lists like that because people will only listen if it comes from me.
Quite. I'm not inclined to do anyone's dirty work for them, but they're spreading a dangerous rhetoric. And now that I've rejected both of their manipulations, and so publicly dismissed Rosa, I'm sure they'll be seeking other tactics. Lotus and Rosa are both part of the largest groups here. Something needs to be done about that to avoid them having a monopoly as we move forward.
We need to remove them from the competition at the next opportunity. The hotel, if we can. And I suggest we make some formal alliances. I want your opinion, is there anyone you'd trust?
They would make good allies, but they're from the same place as Lotus, and I know Santa at least is friends with Kyrie. I doubt they'd be happy with that proposal, unless we did some manipulation of our own. They may be able to help remove Rosa or Eva.
